Being a Team Leader for HandsOn San Diego has helped me in so many ways more than just volunteering. Leading a project has given me experience with building long lasting relationships, the ability to have quick problem solution skills and being an effective communicator. I love the user friendly website and data base. Leading the project at Noah Homes has given me the opportunity to encounter a vast array of people, each one has taught me how to enhance life skills. It feels good to give back to the community.

Noah likes to volunteer with HandsOn because there is a variety of projects to choose from and flexible hours that work with his school schedule.

For me, HandsOn offers projects that I not only enjoy, but helps out the community. I love playing wit the dogs during the Baja Dog Rescue, and taking care of the beaches I go to during the Encinitas beach cleanup.     -Charlene Correia, HOSD volunteer
