Becoming a HandsOn San Diego sponsor will give your company access to our network of over 31,000 civically engaged do-gooders who care deeply about the San Diego community and staff members at the San Diego County-based organizations, schools, and governmental agencies we partner with.
Your gift will allow our organization to continuing providing our volunteer recruitment services to our partner organizations at no cost while increasing volunteerism in our region. Depending on the sponsorship you select, you’ll allow us to provide free memberships to low-income individuals and families, active military and veterans, or service groups while funding the technology and minimal staffing it takes to deploy our volunteers throughout San Diego County.
Our sponsors immediately become associated with the social capital and goodwill earned by HOSD over our years of dedicated service to the San Diego County. All sponsors help keep our volunteer opportunity calendar up-to-date and full of ways volunteers can engage in a variety of impact areas, including those most pressing for San Diegans such as homelessness and food insecurity.
We offer a range of sponsorship levels to accommodate your organization’s goals and budget. As a valued sponsor, you will receive:

| HandsOn San Diego is able to provide its volunteer recruitment services for free to its nonprofit partners because of its volunteer memberships. Individuals are asked $25 for a lifetime membership. HOSD never wants the membership to prevent someone from giving back to their community. Everyone is in different places in life and HOSD respects that for these volunteers so we grant all requests for a waiver, but it adds up. Nearly 1000 volunteers requested to waive the membership in 2023. This sponsorship will allow HOSD to continue waiving the membership for individuals who cannot afford it while providing its volunteer recruitment services to nonprofits at no cost. |

| HandsOn San Diego is a proud supporter of our service members. As part of our continued efforts to support veterans, active military, and their loved ones, we offer them free individual and family memberships through a promo code. In 2023 nearly 200 active military and veterans signed up with our site using the promo code. Your company can show its support of these incredible community members who serve both their country and their community by sponsoring the Active Military & Veterans memberships. |

SilverSponsor Service Groups to Volunteer |

| Clubs, student groups, scout troops, community organizations, and faith-based groups can easily volunteer with HandsOn San Diego as a team. Our team feature allows the team captain to sign up their members for service projects all at once on their behalf. We require a $200 fee for this membership to offset the additional administrative time needed to support these groups. This sponsorship would waive that fee for up to 25 of these groups, impacting up to 500 volunteers! |

| HandsOn San Diego believes youth are capable of becoming changemakers in their communities and beyond. We provide resources and engaging projects for volunteers of all ages to take their community involvement to the next level while developing as a leader and gaining valuable experience in a variety of impact areas. Volunteering as a family can help family members bond, experience new things and perspectives, and learn new skills. Families are asked $50 for a lifetime membership. HOSD never wants the membership to prevent someone from giving back to their community. This sponsorship will allow HOSD to continue waiving the membership for families who cannot afford it and providing its volunteer recruitment services to nonprofits at no cost. |
