The mission of the San Diego Center for the Blind (SDCB) is to help any adult with blindness or vision impairment to reach their highest level of independence. We assist individuals with vision loss to overcome challenges by focusing on capabilities, emphasizing personal strengths, encouraging participation in family life and community activities, and by providing quality comprehensive vision rehabilitation services, which includes: Adjustment to vision loss counseling Training and skill development Community education Outreach programs
