FOOD: National City Food Distribution
In partnership with the City of National City, Catholic Charities operates food distributions three times per week for our neighbors in the South Bay.
Volunteer opportunities include assistance with drive-thru food pantry pick-ups onsite, food packing, deliveries to home bound individuals living in the area, and food transport.
These crucial roles in the National City Food Distribution Collaborative are compliant with COVID-19 social distancing measures: less than 10 volunteers gather at the site at a time and maintain 6+ feet distance apart from other volunteers and program participants, gloves, hand sanitizer, and cleaning supplies provided. Please bring personal face covering.
